Liger Movie Story
A film produced and directed by Puri Jagannath, Liger is a story of an MMA fighter. He is a crossbreed between a tiger and a lion. His mother is a tigress. She dreams of raising her son to win the national MMA boxing championship.
‘Liger’ is about a young MMA fighter who wants to become the number one MMA fighter. He falls in love with a rich brat named Tanya (Panday). After Liger and Tanya meet, he begins to train with the famous Jeet Kune Do trainer, Ronit Roy.
As Liger and Tanya grow closer, Tanya gets jealous of the attention she receives from Liger. But the young boy’s desire to get attention of Tanya drives him to do whatever it takes to win her over.

Liger Movie Review
Liger starts out on a promising note. The screenplay and music are up to par. The climax comes about 10 minutes into the second half. But the love track is a little weak. And that’s not to mention all the other gimmicks that were supposed to be important.
A lot of the film’s action is unconvincing. There is little logic behind the scenes, and the fight scenes are marred with unnecessary wirework. Plus, the film’s love track is lousy.
‘Liger’ is a film that has no clear sense of direction. The story starts off on a promising note but then fades away. Eventually, the script fails to connect with the audience and a disappointing love story keeps the film from achieving its full potential.
It’s clear that Liger is a rags-to-riches story that lacks the emotional depth that it needs. It also is a terrible sexist film. Women are just distracting characters that men have to deal with. They remind them of hell.
‘Liger’ is marketed as a love story but it fails to deliver. While it does have some great performances from the cast, it fails to create any kind of real connection with the viewer. ‘Liger’ is one of the worst big star vehicles of the year.
